Welcome to our latest roundup of what's going on in the indie game space. There are a whole bunch of neat new games out this week, as well as updates on some interesting upcoming projects. In case you missed it, the Steam Spring Sale is under way. There are lots of solid deals here, and my credit card is already screaming at me. I've picked up a bunch of games from my wishlist.

A bunch of intriguing games arrived this week, including a mobile port of one of the most absorbing things I've played in years and two completely different titles with the same name. Let's get things started with a look at a few projects that were featured in the latest edition of the Future Games Show . To recharge your weapons and systems, you have to plug a cable that trails behind your spaceship into a socket. While you're plugged in, your movement is restricted by the length of the tether, but you gain more firepower.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 is Feb. 25 A single collision could cause a cascading effect in orbit. Elon Musk's plan to launch millions of AI satellites could be disastrous for the planet. At the start of the month, Elon Musk announced that two of his companies -- SpaceX and xAI -- were merging, and would jointly launch a constellation of 1 million satellites to operate as orbital data centers. Musk's reputation might suggest otherwise, but according to experts, such a plan isn't a complete fantasy. However, if executed at the scale suggested, some of them believe it would have devastating effects on the environment and the sustainability of low Earth Earth orbit.

For one thing, I didn't have a prequel for, one of my favorite games of the last few years on my bingo card. It's really neat that Motion Twin and Evil Empire -- the studios behind and its expansions, respectively -- are getting to make a proper Castlevania game .

Perhaps I'll tear myself away from playing as Chappell Roan in or Jetpack Cat in long enough to check more of them out. Thanks to the folks at, I learned about a short, text-based game from Woe Industries from a while back called . Surprisingly enough, you take on the role of a venture capitalist who has plowed gobs of money into genAI technology and might be starting to have doubts about that investment.
